Rates and Insurance for Therapy Services
Understanding the costs and insurance options for therapy services is an important part of planning your mental health care. At Best Life Counselling, I strive to make my services accessible and transparent for all clients. Below, you will find detailed information about my rates for individual counselling, support for leaders, and supervision consultations, as well as the insurance plans I accept. Fees for Therapy & Supervision
Sessions are normally 60 minutes in length. Sessions can be done face to face, over the telephone or on a secure online platform that is compliant with required privacy legislation.
Services can be paid for at the end of each session by e-transfer (preferred) to kbursoncounselling@gmail.com, cheque or cash.

I am a registered social worker with the Ontario college of social workers and social service workers (#800756) Many insurance providers cover social work services. Please check prior to sessions to find out what services your plans cover. Payment is made directly to me after each session and then sent for reimbursement by you.

Receipts will be provided at the end of each session that may be provided to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Your session time is reserved specifically for you. Should you have to cancel or change your appointment time please provide me with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations under 48 hours’ notice will be billed at normal session rates. The exception to this would be in the event of inclement weather. An option to move to a virtual appointment in this case will be provided.
